Your dentist will ask you to go back for further examinations or procedures. You shouldn't mind the money you'll be spending for it because it's for your own benefit. How was your last visit? I hope that you didn't encounter any problems.

Ted Grimmer @ Cody Dental Group Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16591705468400909715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643026239531362436.post-50534922081452699812013-09-16T08:16:14.004-07:002013-09-16T08:16:14.004-07:00I think that those scenes you've seen from Mar...I think that those scenes you've seen from Marathon Man has always been the fear of many when it comes to dental visits. Wild imaginations give life to our fear to the dentist, and I would brave to admit that I am guilty with this as well. But anyway, it's great that you still pushed through your dental visit and even brought your son along. To give you assurance that your dentist wouldn't turn into a torturing maniac ready to drill your gums away (insert smirk here), make sure to you go only to someone you trust. He must also have a good reputation when it comes to handling all types of patients.
Josh @ Hammer & Bonin Cosmetic and Family DentistryAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07222041616132647233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643026239531362436.post-34668118902650169852013-09-08T13:34:11.854-07:002013-09-08T13:34:11.854-07:00Thanks for the final couple of comments, very nice...Thanks for the final couple of comments, very nice words from you. It has helped me over the year get through the first year with my son, knowing that someone else out there got through it and also giving me an insight into what will be in my baby's 2nd year on earth! Our daughter has been in hers since she was 18 months, and is now 2 1/2. We don't have issues with her going to bed, any more, but during the night she wakes..every single night! I won't go in to how ridiculously awful it can be ( I cover some antics in my blog).
What works(ish) for us, is the kiss and cuddle routine. She gets a kiss and a cuddle on going to bed, plus the usual story etc. Then she is on a promise for more kisses and cuddles if she stays in bed for a couple of minutes, and waits our return. If she gets up, she is put back to bed with no reward, until the next time. As I said, she goes to bed no problem now, but this routine we use during the night too.
Good luck.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01202475738486797438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643026239531362436.post-20097503503319687892013-08-22T13:32:01.871-07:002013-08-22T13:32:01.871-07:00I don't think I've met anyone who's no...I don't think I've met anyone who's not afraid of the dentist. So we agreed that the little guy would be cared for in the main by the big guy with me doing one day and grandma doing another. The little guy is ace with other kids and grown ups. He sociable and will give anyone a cuddle. He goes to playgroups and various sessions at museums and galleries in the city. Nursery was just not a viable option mainly down to finances. I too don't think that people who send their kids to nursery love their children less. They'll all have different experiences and that's good because we're all different.
Yay to what we do and yay to what others do Charlotte Haworthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03360328313590944829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643026239531362436.post-10908666139805659002013-04-03T04:48:20.579-07:002013-04-03T04:48:20.579-07:00Ah, dentist stories...I know it hurts, sucks, and ...Ah, dentist stories...I know it hurts, sucks, and costs a great deal of money but at least you will have a wonderful smile! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03933806936966195690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8643026239531362436.post-87151615992253635212013-03-13T15:44:07.588-07:002013-03-13T15:44:07.588-07:00Well written as ever Ericka.
